Professional Commitment

Christina Winkler sees professional commitment as a task that is part of her job. She is a member of several associations and is very active in areas that are of particular interest to her: scientific work, international connections and major social issues such as migration and war trauma.

She is Vice-President of the FF2P (French Federation for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy) and Chair of the Research Committee. She represents the association on the board of the EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy) where she is the chair of the Chamber of Individual Members and participates in several working groups: SARC (Scientific and Research Committee), ETSC (European Training Standards Committee) and the Committee for Refugees.

Christina is co-founder of the ‘European Room for Listening (ERL)’, an initiative of psychotherapists for colleagues exposed to war situations. This initiative currently consists of a group of twenty psychotherapists, half from Ukraine and half from European countries, including Poland, Denmark and France. Together they are looking for ways to support our colleagues in this extreme situation. Various projects are being developed from there.

We have already planned:

  • A meta-supervision room
  • A retreat in France, Denmark and Poland for 60 of our colleagues from Ukraine
  • A conference for trauma and post-traumatic syndrome in the context of war.

Other initiatives are gradually emerging as we work together. Please contact Christina if you would like to participate as an experienced psychotherapist.
